My original plan was to make some custom rod holders, but instead, I bought these off ebay. After crappie fishing with them once, I decided I will go back to my original idea. Because they were cheaply made, the 1/4 inch hole does not fit the head of a 1/4 inch countersunk bolt. In fact, it didn't fit the head of any bolt. So, I drilled my own holes, and mounted with more 3/16 rivets.
