1974 Islander - Mark IV. She sat unattended, for the most part for five years. Although the outdrive was completely serviced, fuel tanks and lines replaced, and the wiring redone, she'll still need a lot of work... The transom is solid as a rock. The floor and carpet are shot, and the engine cover needs to be replaced. The cushions in the cuddy are shot, as well as the headliner. I'll begin gutting her the last week of April. Last, I need a name...

I am restoring a 1986 16' Smokercraft Alaskan I bout for $900. One of previous owners had installed wooden flooring and a homemade center console with Teleflex steering and throttle controls. All wood is shot and the center console is loose. The engine looks to need a tune up at minimum and the trailer needs over due preventive and corrective maintenance. I am planning on dropping another $1000 in to this for seats, flooring, console, trolling motor, batteries and various other items. I plan on having a nice little fishing boat by June.
