Here She Be....

After 5 years of non-use, the cover is removed...

The DIRTIEST boat I've ever seen!!!

Dirt, dirt, and MORE dirt! Glad I have two powerwashers!

The hull shines nicely, even after sitting for so long.

I test waxed a spot and it shines like new. Some Novus 1 on the the glass will bring it back to perfect condition.

Why do I get the feeling she's staring at me???

Steady, old girl, you'll see the water soon.....

Engine Cover

This will get replaced. It does sit straight and level, I just didn't latch it. Looks like it was replaced at one point.

I Can't understand why anyone would take the time to build a new one, then use drywall screws to put it all together!!!

Although it's in perfect shape, I don't really like the red vinyl, and will most likely replace it.

Gotta lose that 70's plaid...

The cushions look intact, but they're shot. Luckily, they're all in one piece - perfect for a pattern... Gotta lose that lame red carpet too. Some nice Hulliner will go here.

Someone was obsessed...

Any ideas how to get those letters off?

A view from astern.

Again, with the dirt!!!

Another view from astern.

Believe it or not, those seats are like new! I'll use 'em for the time being, but two pedestal seats are what's needed. I think some custom lounge seats might be in the works...

165 Merc

Did I mention she runs beautifully? Quiet as a church mouse...

The Captain checks her out...

This is my dad, and he's very ill. As sick as he is, he WALKED up the road to check her out, and give me his blessing. He got me into boating 30 years ago, when I was about 10. You can't keep an old Navy seadog down...
