"popped up" the keyboard and removed hard drive. Inventory indicates 5MB of ram (1MB + 2 2MB Expansion), internal modem, parralel, display, and serial port, as well as a 3.5" floppy drive.
Checked out the hard drive. Its a conner C2044PK, weighing in at a whopping (ya, right) 42.6MB. This will be sold and upgraded to something around 512MB, I would go to a spare 2.1GB, but an outdated bios worries me of using one of these.
Well, I have determined once I upgrade the hard drive the commodore will run windows 95. I'm planning to copy the contents of the disk to the hard drive via my desktop, then install the hard drive and install windows.
Have picked out my new hard drive. It's a toshiba 2gb, and I have determined it's compatible with the commodores BIOS. It should be here by friday.
Got the hard drive in today. Physical installation was okay, I had to fab up a mount out of some 1x1" angle aluminum, because the mounting holes are in different locations. One is the biggest DOS supports, the other is 20 MB (or thereabout)
