This started with an innocent question from a fishin buddy. "Hey, you know anything about fiberglass"? He thought it would be a quick patch up job. Huh!!He had given up on it. He gave me a couple of pints of old poly resin, some small packages of autoparts type fiberglass patches, and a couple of sheets of plywood. In hindsight, I know why. What it is is a 1977 Hurst 15' open bow tri-hull. Every fiber of wood in the entire boat was either completely rotten, or had rot damage. When I got done cutting, it looked like something ready for the land fill. Nothing but the original wood-less, gutted, hull remained. Ya really gotta want to build-own a boat to set the hook on this one. It's been an education so far. Tearing down sucked. Putting it back together is a lot of fun.
